Foldable geometric structures

Anett
Takacs

Biography
Her work revolves around the theme of geometric abstraction. She creates foldable geometric structures on monochromatic painted canvases, exhibiting them both in two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms. These artworks, often displayed as local installations, seamlessly adapt to the exhibition space. Furthermore, in subsequent presentations, they might be reborn in entirely different configurations. She is intrigued by the shifts in perspective and the contrast between 3D and 2D. Her exploration extends to the geometry found in nature, as well as the examination of colors. Starting from these observations, she imbues her paintings with a more organic quality. Believing in the power and impact of colors, she utilizes them to tell stories through geometric art. Her approach involves not only the formal aspects of geometric abstraction but also a deep exploration of the geometry inherent in the natural world.
